Meetings, Meetings and Meetings

Readers,

we have received feedback from you regarding our countless meetings,
and some even question our dress code where we wear black and white for every meeting,
we cannot thank you enough for your feedback.

but it must be understand that,
everything we do,
either running around every night,
attending all the meetings,
wearing the black and white themed shirt,
was all for YOU!
some of you understand that,
but to some, they just dont get it.
so that's why we, MeLEX Syura Council agreed in a motto;
'we lead and we serve'

where you can see,
we not only lead the Law Students,
but we also serve them,
we also serve you.
so help us, support us,
because we need you.

A Day with Department

Readers,

on the 07th of August 2010,
Bureau of Education and Training organized an Induction Course to the MeLEX Syura Council,
the target were the Syura Councils themselves and their subcoms.

that morning, there was a Talk on how to manage a society,
we, participants, were amazed by the many experiences from the speaker,
being the former MeLEX Representative, the speaker did give some interesting ideas on promoting MeLEX itself.

after being devided into Groups,
we all were assigned to make a logo and a war cry.
the participants gave their full commitment and they were open enough for everything.

in the afternoon, the Explorace game was played,
where all contestants ran all over the Campus Grounds in order to know the so-called 'Secret of the Dean'

that day ended up with lots of laughter and sooooo many more enjoyed faces.
Edu and Train did a fantastic jom in handling this Induction Course.

thanks for the support participants,
more activities may be coming your way.

Legal Dining Etiquette

Readers,

on the 5th of August 2010,
MeLEX was asked to be the committee in charge for a major event,
The Legal Dining Etiquette.
the venue was first at Lecture Hall A, and was moved to Al-Malik Faisal Hall

the day before the event, the whole Syura Council came down and made final preparations for the venue and the decorations,
with our commitment and team effort, collectively, we managed to finish most of it by 0400.

at the day of the event, Graduating Students, which were the main guests for the event, were asked to hear a talk on grooming at Lecture Hall A,
at 1230, the venue was changed to Al-Malik Faisal Hall,
where food, tables, chairs, names, everything was prepared,
they only need to enter and eat.

that event was our first event.
and it went partially well.
hopefully, we can improve our skills and cover our loopwholes
so that YOU have the best of the best MeLEX Syura Council!!
after all, it's what you deserve :).
